CERES Computer Café: What’s in a page? The inner workings of the web

CERES Palais, room "Lalibela" (3.11)

Much information is available on the web, either because data is published online, or because the web itself is studied as a source. In order to make use of this information in a structured way beyond browsing, a basic understand of how the web works and how a website looks “from the inside” is required. This session will introduce basic principles of the web and its data structures (HTML, XML, JSON).
