Public lectures and teaching rehearsals in the appointment procedure for the W1 professorship for Digital Humanities
As part of the call for applications for a W1 professorship for Digital Humanities in the Study of Religion, we invite everyone to attend the candidate's public lectures and teaching tests. The future holder of the position should represent the field of Digital Humanities in Religious Studies in research and teaching. In particular, the aim is to further develop research questions of digital humanities in relation to religion and to introduce the methods of digital humanities into religious studies education. Proven experience in the application of procedures and methods of digital information processing for the treatment of research questions in the humanities and cultural studies as well as the willingness to engage in interdisciplinary scholarly work within the framework of religion-related collaborative research projects are of particular importance for filling the position.
