CERES Computer Café: Programming as a Scholar of Religion

“Programming” is often deemed an arcane art accessible only to dedicated computer nerds—but definitely not to scholars of religion. Using examples from his current research, Thomas Jurczyk shows that learning to program is not harder than learning Classical Armenian, and—like the latter—can be quite helpful in studying historical texts.
